Zoé Tougas is a junior at Cheshire High School in Cheshire, Connecticut. Zoé's interest in music started at a young age and has grown exponentially over the years. Zoé plays the guitar, piano, flute, and sings. She has been cast as a lead dancer and singer in the last three musicals at her high school. This past March she was given the lead role as Regina George in the High School Version of Mean Girls. Zoé is a member of various music ensembles at her school: VIP's, Vocal Jazz, and Honors Choir. Zoé has also been active with a variety of theater classes at Cheshire High School: Fundamentals of Theater, Advanced Theater, and Honors Aries Theater. Zoé has been employed as the song leader (voice and guitar) at her synagogue for the past three years. For the past eight months, Zoé has been an active member of a School of Rock Performance Band, where she enjoys performing rock music. Zoé has also been an invited guest to perform at fundraisers with a local rock & roll band, The Mudflaps. And Zoé volunteers her time to sing and play piano/guitar at Cheshire Senior Center. When Zoé is not playing or singing, she is busy with Varsity Volleyball, Crane Lake Camp in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and spending quality time with friends and family.
