Bio

Alana is a soprano and is currently a Senior at Saint Joseph Academy in San Marcos, California. She fell in love with singing classical music in the eighth grade and entered a vocal solo competition for the first time. In a short amount of time, Alana studied and was able to develop her vocal skills to earn award winning honors. Entering the 2021 SCVA Vocal Solo Competition as a newcomer, she became a finalist with her first attempt. Returning to the competition in 2022, Alana became the 2nd place winner in the high school classical division. She also participated in the 2021 and 2022 CMEA Solo and Ensemble Festivals, earning gold level ratings both years. More recently, she was nominated as the second-place winner of the 2023 Hal Leonard Vocal Competition in the Early Teen Art Song Division.

Besides her participation in competitions, she is also a member of her school choir and theater program. Alana is a member of the National Honor Society with a 4.84 GPA. Outside of school, she volunteers her time singing for various causes and events within her community.

Alana wishes to further expand her repertoire and continue in her pursuit of musical knowledge in years to come. She hopes that with each performance she will be able to gain experience and grow as an artist.
