Francisco Morales Quiroga was born in Venezuela, he has Bachelor Degree of Music in Voice from UNEARTE Venezuela. He studied with Cuban-Venezuelan soprano Lucy Ferrero in Caracas, with Maria Fattore in NYC, among others. He participated in the summer program of the Reina Sofia School in Santander (1998) and in the Portland Opera Performance Institute 2002 Summer Program, working directly with prominent artists such as: Alfredo Kraus, Tito Capobianco, Danielle Orlando, Corradina Caporello among others.
He has sung leading opera roles in Venezuela, Colombia, the United States, Germany, Uruguay, Argentina, Austria, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Italy.
Among his most prominent roles are Don José in Carmen, Canio in I Pagliacci, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rústicana, Ernani in Verdi, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Alfredo in La Traviata and more recently Hoffmann in Los Hoffman's Tales by Jacques Offenbach, Roberto in Roberto Deveraux by G. Donizetti, Pollione in Norma by V. Bellini and G. Verdi's Otello.
Parallel to his activity as a singer, he has also successfully performed as Reggisseur in the staging of the operas Gianni Schicchi by Puccini and L'elisir d'amore by Donizetti.
