Bio

Valerie Younes is a talented young soprano from South Florida, born into a Lebanese-Colombian family with a rich musical heritage. Surrounded by diverse musical influences throughout her life, Valerie was immersed in various styles and traditions that have shaped her unique artistic voice. Alongside her vocal talents, she excels at playing the violin, viola, and piano, embracing a holistic approach to the performing arts.

A defining moment in Valerie’s musical journey came during her middle school years when she performed "Think of Me" from The Phantom of the Opera in front of friends and family. This courageous performance helped her conquer self-doubt and fear, solidifying her commitment to a classical singing path. It was this moment that ignited her ambition to pursue leading roles in operas and Broadway, fueled by a deep belief in the transformative and healing power of music.

Valerie’s love for the arts is complemented by a passion for science and patient care. She aspires to blend these interests through music therapy, combining her scientific curiosity with her musical expertise to bring comfort and healing to others. With a strong foundation in vocal performance and instrumental proficiency, Valerie continues to refine her craft, eager to explore new dimensions of her talents and to make a significant impact in both the world of music and the realm of healing through music.
