Elise Mark

"[G]raced with the pipes of a goddess" (River Reporter), soprano Elise Mark is "making her mark" (Voce di Meche) in the classical and operatic world and beyond. An exceptionally versatile talent, she is equally adept at performing traditional operatic repertoire as well as contemporary opera and musical theater. Recent roles include Sandman in Hänsel und Gretel with Wilmington Concert Opera, Vanessa Slovancia in The Audition, an adaptation of Mozart’s Impresario with Delaware Valley Opera of New York, and Donna Anna (cover) in Don Givanni with Long Island Lyric Opera. She is looking forward to debuting the title role in Carlisle Floyd’s opera Savannah in August 2024. Alongside her performance career, Elise is an classical music and arts advocate and organizer, managing the Creative Becoming Creative Arts Community and hosting one of Philadelphia's most diverse open mic events each month and the Perch Music & Arts Studio.
