Ross Wilson (tenor) began his musical tuition under the guidance of Maureen Rutherford, later studying with Caroline Dickov at the RSAMD. He completed his undergraduate study at Edinburgh Napier University and his masters at the RWCMD, Cardiff with Adrian Thompson. His recent operatic roles include Damon (The Spring, James Harris, Opera at Chilmark), Paulino (Secret Marriage, Cimarosa, Hampsted Garden Opera) and Count Almaviva (Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Rossini, Scherzo Ensemble). He is a founding member of the Champagne Quartet, an operatic group of young singers that perform throughout the UK. Ross now resides in London and has completed the opera course at the Associated Studios whilst singing with St Stephens, Lewisham. Earlier this year Ross sang with The Merry Opera Company in their “Pirates of Penzance” and made his debut with English National Opera in their production of “Dido”.
