Emmanuel Tsao is an 11th grader in the Vocal Studio at LaGuardia High School in New York City. He has loved singing for as long as he can remember. His first professional role was playing Michael Darling in Peter Pan at Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 9-years-old, and he has continued to perform in musical theater and classical music productions ever since, including Chichester Psalms (treble soloist; Memphis Symphony Orchestra), Fault Lines (boy soprano duet; Museum of Modern Art, NY), Amahl and the Night Visitors (Amahl; Resonance Works, Pittsburgh), The Christmas Spider (Dmytro; The American Opera Project, NY), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Linus; 92NY Theater for Young Audiences), The Addams Family (Pugsley Understudy/Groom Ancestor; LaGuardia High School), and Into the Woods (Jack; LaGuardia High School). Emmanuel also plays several instruments, including piano, guitar, violin, and organ.
