Dr. Seon appeared in opera productions such as Cosi Fan Tutte as Ferrando and Die Entführung aus dem Serail as Belmont by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart when he studied vocal performance in the graduate school of the West Chester University of PA. He also performed Ferrando at the opera Cosi Fan Tutte and Belmonte at Die Entführung aus dem Serail in New Jersey area after graduation. He performed Alfredo in the opera La Traviata as an emerging professional in South Korea, too. He performed Handel’s Messiah as a tenor soloist in several areas of Philadelphia and New Jersey. His active performances increased his reputation with his virtuosic singing of at least more than 10 times a month for each of the oratorio concerts as a tenor soloist during the years of 2015-2016 as an emerging artist in Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s The Creation, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony 4th movement, Mozart’s Requiem, Coronation Mass, Vesperae de Dominica, and Theodore Dubois’s the seven last words of Christ on Cross. With his stature, he annually performs a great number of concerts as an active performer in Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony 4th movement, and Theodore Dubois’s the seven last words of Christ on the cross for Ester. He performed Arturo at Lucia di Lammermoor as a full production at the Catholic University of America in 2017. He participated as a principal artist at numerous opera gala concerts in the productions of Bel Canto operas such as L’elisir D’amore and Lucia di Lammermoor for Donizetti, and La Cenerentola for Rossini, and Il Puritani for Bellini as well. He also expands his repertoire since he performs in various operas. Therefore, he recently participated in the single-act opera Cendrillon including a dance performance as Prince Charmant which was premiered in South Carolina. The tenor recently performed Italian opera Thursday concerts for Villa Tronco at the famous Italian restaurant for a promotional event on the traditional opera in South Carolina.
