Meredith Layne Hungerford

Meredith Layne Hungerford is a senoir at Charleston School of the Arts and resides in Summerville, SC. She has a passion for the performing arts and has studied voice, dance and acting since she was in elementary school. She has participated in several productions at her current school, as well as local theatres, including Bye Bye Birdie (Kim), Flight of the Lawnchair Man (Gracie), Seussical, Jr (Bird Girl) and Lion King, Jr (Nala). This past summer she performed in The 24 Hour Musical production of the Sound of Music (Marta) and is currently rehearsing for Matilda (Teen Ensemble). Meredith Layne was chosen as a Rising Star in 2015 for Piccolo Spoleto and as a Great American Songbook finalist in 2019.
