Contralto Imelda Franklin Bogue sings Erda in scenes from Wagner’s Seigfried with Boulder Opera in July of 2023, and Mama McCourt with Loveland Opera’s The Ballad of Baby Doe in October. Recent credits include a cover of Azucena with Boulder Opera’s Il Trovatore, the Page and a cover of Herodias in Salome with Madison Lyric Stage, a cover of Mrs. Sedley in Peter Grimes with MLS, and the Third Lady with Opera Fort Collins’ The Magic Flute. Other credits include Alma March in Mark Adamo’s Little Women, Mere Jeanne in Poulenc’s Des dialogues des Carmelites, and Orlofsky in Strauss' Die Fledermaus. As an oratorio and concert artist she has been the guest of the Fairfield County Chorale, Crescendo Berkshires, the Westchester Oratorio Society, the Salisbury Sinfonietta, and the Flatirons Orchestra, among others. Ms. Bogue studies with Valerie Sorel and coaches with William Hicks.
