Bio

Emily Hamilton is a young soprano with a passion for contemporary music based in Montreal, Quebec. She is a current student at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University where she studies Voice Performance under the tutelage of Anja Burmeister Strauss. In June 2022, Emily will be participating in the Vocal Studio during her attendance at the International Music Festival of the Adriatic in Duino, Italy. She is looking forward to working with a composer-in-residence. Emily’s most recent collaboration was in February 2022, where she worked with composer Lily Koslow on a work for high soprano and piano; this piece was premiered in April 2022 at her semi-recital.
