Emily Hamilton

• Participated in the Ohio Capital Conference Honor Choir at Ohio State University in 2017
• Participated at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Ohio Chapter and achieved first place in category III/IV-2, High School Classical
• Premiered "The History Of" by Lily Koslow in April of 2022
• NAHS Outstanding Freshman in the NAHS Symphonic Choir
• NAHS Outstanding Sophomore in the NAHS Honors A Cappella Choir
• NAHS Outstanding Choral Musician

Emily Hamilton is a young soprano with a passion for contemporary music based in Montreal, Quebec. She is a current student at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University where she studies Voice Performance under the tutelage of Anja Burmeister Strauss. In June 2022, Emily will be participating in the Vocal Studio during her attendance at the International Music Festival of the Adriatic in Duino, Italy. She is looking forward to working with a composer-in-residence. Emily’s most recent collaboration was in February 2022, where she worked with composer Lily Koslow on a work for high soprano and piano; this piece was premiered in April 2022 at her semi-recital.
