Soprano Gillian Watson cultivates a highly desired combination of bright shimmer and rich depth throughout her sound. Her voice has been noted as having "both power and incredible sweetness."

Most recently, Ms. Watson joined Regina Opera as Giorgetta in their production of Il Tabarro, New York Dramatic Voices to sing the Forth Maid and the Confidant in Strauss' Elektra as well scenes from La Gioconda and Tannhäuser.

She was also invited to sing for the Welsh National Opera (Cardiff, UK) and in 2021 she was invited to compete in the Montserrat Caballé International Singing Competition in Barcelona, Spain. Notable roles she has sung include Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, Donna Anna and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Mimì in La Bohème and Desdemona in Verdi's Otello.

Ms. Watson holds both her BM and MM degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
