Jacob McRee

My name is Jacob McRee, I have been singing for the majority of my life. I was first in my church’s youth choir from 1st to 5th grade. In the 3rd grade I joined a Spanish Christian Children’s Music Ministry group called Chavales. This continued through the 6th grade. I attended Orange Lutheran High School and was in the Honors Choir. I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in the Spring Musical, Anything Goes, my Senior year. I was honored to receive a Macy Award for my participation and performance. I began working with my Voice Teacher, Judith Powell, a little over 4.5 years ago. I continue to perform at church events, holiday concerts, and most recently performed the National Anthem at Orange Coast College. I am now pursuing a Classical career and have been participating in many national vocal competitions over the past 4 years. I plan to continue my Operatic Studies at Chapman University in the Fall of 2019.
