Hi, my name is Raghav Pallapothu and I am a junior in high school in South Carolina! I have been extremely interested in music throughout my life having performed in large venues like the Kimmel Center (Philadelphia, PA) in instruments like violin, piano, and through singing. Having formerly lived in the heart of Southern Tier New York, I competed in several competitions like the Southern Tier Music Teachers Association (STMTA) where I routinely placed in Musical Theater and Classical Music. My performance in such competitions also qualified me for the Broome County Music Educators Association (BCMEA) Choir where I performed as part of a small choir of the most talented singers in the area. Through vocal competitions, I have won several regional and state awards through the NYSSMA annual state-wide evaluation series where I qualified for the New York State Region II All-State choir as part of being among the state's best singers. My performance in vocal competitions also allowed me to attend the CS Music National Convention in Chicago, Illinois as a Round 2 qualifier. After performing in front of several prestigious institutions in Chicago, my journey in the CS Music Competition Series led me to attain a prestigious Classical Singer Nationally Certified Singer award, which placed me among 6 singers in South Carolina who are published in the National All-State Recruiting Report.
