Emma Jones is a senior undergraduate Vocal Performance student at the University of Oregon. She studied voice for 2 years under Angela Niederloh while pursuing an Associate of Arts at Portland Community College and for 3 years under Dr. Karen Esquivel. Her work with the Eugene Opera includes performing as one of the Knabe in the 2022 production of Die Zauberflöte, and singing in the chorus in the 2023 production of La Boheme and for the 2024 production of La Traviata. She worked with Cascadia Chamber Opera as the title character in Dan Daly’s The Banshee in July 2022. Works with the University of Oregon include performing as Charlotte Olafson in Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, and the Sorceress in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. She won first place in the University’s Opera Scholarship Competition.
