Fiorela Miria, 15 years old, and is Freshman attending Laguardia High School of Music. She began her career on stage at the age of 4, performing at the Bronx House School of Performing Arts. At the age of 8, she performed as a soloist for the first time, unveiling her soprano range to the surprise of her vocal teacher. She did operatic roles including Lady 1 in The Magic Flute, Annina/Gypsy in La Traviata, and Amahl in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Hudson Lyric Opera, Children's Chorus in Carmen with the New Rochelle Opera, and Cherubino arias with the Northern Westchester Symphony Orchestra. Additional roles include Guppy/Firefly in The Little Mermaid, July in Annie, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, LeFou in Beauty and the Beast, Mayzie LaBird in Seussical The Musical, and Genie in Aladdin with Riverdale Children's Theater, Rafiki in The Lion King with PS 175, and Feuilly in Les Misérable with Class Act New York. Fiorela has performed for the Albanian president at the Albanian Excellence Grand Gala at Symphony Space, in addition to venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Internationally she has toured Romania, Albania, and France, and has performed with the National Children's Chorus in Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, South Korea, and Japan. Fiorela won 2nd place for the 2019 Junior High New York Lyric Opera Competition, 1st place in Voice for the Little Mozarts Crescendo Competition, 1st place in the NATS competitions in both Classical and Musical theatre, and 1st place in the 2020 Talent Hunt Competition with the Omega PSI PHI Fraternity-The Rockland Ques.
