Ashley Onuigbo

Ashley Onuigbo has been involved in both theatre and choir for 8 years now. Since her Freshman year of high school, she has actively been taking voice lessons and classes in acting and dance. During her Sophomore year, she received Outstanding Soloist at State Solo and Ensemble, an award given to just 3% of participants; and placed first chair as an Alto 2 in Allstate her Junior and Senior year. She has played multiple notable roles during her career, some of them including Éponine in Les Miserables and Lucy in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. During her Senior year, she was accepted into the Houston Grand Opera High School Voice Studio, an extremely selective program that accepts 10-12 students per year. Currently, Ashley is studying at Carnegie Mellon where she plans to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre.
