Riley McNerney is a rising senior Musical Theatre major at the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky. He was selected for Musical Theatre and Vocal Music at Kentucky's Governors School for the Arts Program for summer 2022. Recently, Riley performed in Les Miserables as Jean Valjean at the Rose Theatre Company. Professional roles include Dodger (Oliver) at Center Stage Theatre, Ollie (Best Christmas Pageant Ever) at Stage One Family Theatre, Amahl (Amahl and the Night Visitors) at Kentucky Opera, and Ensemble (A Christmas Carol) at Actors Theatre of Louisville. He also made his feature film debut in Ron Howards Hillbilly Elegy as Dane. Riley is excited for this opportunity to learn and perform at the CS Music Vocal competition as music and theatre have been a passion of his since a young age.
