Kimberly Martinez

Kimberly Martinez is a mezzo-soprano that hails from Nutley, New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University, where she received the Dr. Benjamin F. Wilkes Scholarship. She currently resides in Boston, MA, where she is pursuing her Master of Music degree at New England Conservatory.

Kimberly recently performed in New England Conservatory's Perkin Opera Scenes as Dorabella in Così fan tutte, and Fidalma in Il matrimonio segreto. In December 2021, she performed in NEC's night of, "Nothing We Can't Handel". In April 2022, she will perform in New England Conservatory's production of L'enfant et les sortileges.

Music has been a part of Kimberly's life for many years, starting out with Kindermusic when she was only five years old. Outside of music, she is a big foodie, loves to read, and do makeup. Kimberly is a proud Latina of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent.
