Chailyn Lucero moved to a few different cities in Oregon such as McMinnville, Newberg, and Albany, and in all those places the thing that remained constant was performing music. Her involvement in choir and music theory throughout high school (along with the support of her choir teachers) helped her discover a passion for music performance and teaching. At Oregon State, Chailyn has been a student conductor and section leader for Bella Voce and Chamber Choir and has also performed with University Choral and Divine, an a cappella group. She has also competed in Music Theater for the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition and placed third overall in her category. Chailyn is graduating with a degree of Bachelor of the Arts in Music, with a minor in Music Performance.
