Bio

Madison Falkenstine is a young soprano based in Denver, Colorado. She is currently a senior at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she studies with Professor Gene Roberts. In 2018 she was awarded the Denver Lyric Opera Guild Scholarship, and in 2019 she was awarded the Beverly Fernauld Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Voice. Madison has been involved in MSU Opera Theatre since 2017 in both Opera Scenes and Opera Main-stage. In this program she was given the opportunity to sing roles like Manon from Massenet's Manon, Rosina from the Barber of Seville, and Duchess Carolina in Moreno Torroba's Luisa Fernanda. She is slated to be the soprano soloist in Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana (MSU Denver Festival Choir), and Ralph Vaughan William’s Dona Nobis Pacem (Montview Westminster Choir) in May of 2021.
