My name is Hannah Brewer and I am 19 years old. I am a freshman at S.U.N.Y. Geneseo, majoring in Vocal Performance, with a minor in Music Education. I enjoy spending time with my mom and brothers, as well as my pets. I love History and went to Washington D.C. in March 2020 for the Close-Up trip along with students from all over the world. This happen to be the same week that Covid shut down everything, and I spent five weeks in quarentine upon returning because the school and everyone thought that we were exposed to Covid while on the trip. With my Junior and Senior years in highschool, came many changes. The school was shut down and classes went to remote learning. My College AP courses that I was taking while in Highscool were all done via zoom and email. I had to learn to deal with many frequent and constant changes, and this helped make me become more flexible and resilient. Although Covid turned the world upside down, I still managed to graduate in 2021 on time, with an Advanced Regents Diploma and a GPA of 4.0. I can't wait to continue my studies at S.U.N.Y. Geneseo, and become the best that I can be in every way.
