Nikita Silagy Labdon

Nikita recently completed her Bachelor of Music Vocal Performance at the University of Manitoba, studying under Monica Huisman. This past season she performed as a chorister in Manitoba Opera’s Susannah and was a soloist with Canzona. Nikita appeared in Manitoba Underground Opera’s children’s show, The Three Little Pigs, this past season where they brought opera to hundreds of children. She has also performed with MUO as “Fortune” in The Coronation of Poppea, “Pappagena”, in The Magic Flute, and “Spirit” in Cendrillon. Other notable performances include “Cendrillon” in Cendrillon a concert version with New York Lyric opera, and “Cherubino” Marriage of Figaro, with U of M Opera scenes. When Nikita is not singing she loves going to the gym, taking her dog for walks and spending time with family and friends.
