Anastasia Matskevitch, mezzo-soprano. Born in Minsk, Belarus, from a family of classical musicians. Since the age of 6, she attended music school to study piano. Her academic singing pass started in music school and continued at the Music College and Belarusian Music Academy.
While in her last years of high school, she performed solo concerts at the biggest scenes of Minsk, Belarus. She continued her education at Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
At second year in Belarusian State Academy of Music had singing part in drama performance on stage at the Minsk Drama Cinemactor Theatre. Anastasia took part in several opera performances, singing Alinda at Cavalli’s Giasone, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, Finetka in premiere of only one opera of Oginski. Now working on part of Balladyna in opera Goplana. Also performs in numerous concerts. For last few months of lockdown was actively participating in number of international online music projects.
Worked with great figures in opera world, such as R. Karczykowski, O. Lukjanionok, A. Mikołajczyk, Maestro M. Mayrhofer and R. Holzer and all of the other great musicians. She was a part of a few projects with recordings and radio translations. Also, she had a chance to be a music consultant at a Spanish-Polish- Austrian movie production of young Spanish director Miguel J. Velez. Now she has her own radio show about opera at ‘Radio Wnet Warsaw". In February 2020 participated in final round auditions for National Opera Studio in London. Now, her repertoire varies from classical to jazz programs along with her own original music and musical theatre performances.
