Sarah Drake

• NFMC Martha Marcks Award (2024)- I placed 3rd in the Junior Division of the National Federation of Music Clubs' competition. This award is given to vocalists who show the greatest level of musicianship. With this award, the NFMC propels vocalists forward with financial support to pursue opportunities in the music industry.
• NYU Classical Voice Summer Intensive (2023)- I participated in the Classical Voice Intensive, where I trained for two weeks under professors at NYU, where I learned and furthered my skills in diction, language, history, and vocal training.
• UArts Musical Theater Summer Program (2022)- I participated in the Musical Program, where I furthered my vocal, dancing, and acting training with the use of lectures, as well as studio training among my peers.

Sarah Drake is a classically trained singer based in NJ, where she is currently a Junior in High School. Her accomplishments include: attending the NYU Classical Voice Summer Intensive (2023), as well as the University of the Arts: Musical Theater Summer Program (2022), and being a part of Peddie’s select vocal ensemble: The Treblemakers. Her hopes for the future are to attend university, where she wants to receive a dual degree in Vocal Performance and English with a minor in business. After university, she hopes to pursue a career in performance of the vocal arts, but more specifically in Classical Music and Musical Theater, where she wants to focus on bringing attention to music by female composers. Or, she hopes to work in the business industry of music, as a marketing or creative director.
