Actor and singer KADEN FORSBERG regularly performs music theatre and opera on national and international stages. Recently, he was engaged in Centaur Theatre’s queer reading series (Jesse in A Song of Fiction) and he is looking forward to competing in this year’s Lotte Lenya competition finals.
Kaden maintains a diverse career balancing music theatre, opera, and concert. He performed title roles in Joseph…Dreamcoat (Festival Players) and Candide (NUOVA) while appearing nationally in leading roles with Pacific Opera Victoria, City Opera Vancouver, and Highlands Opera. Kaden notably developed and performed the role of Devon Marie Clements’ "Missing" (dir. Peter Hinton). His international engagements include a fellowship at the Aspen Music Festival, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi (Amalfi Coast Music Festival), and Medoro in Orlando Paldino (Mozarteum & The Salzburg Festival).
Additionally, Kaden performs regularly as a soloist with several Canadian symphony orchestras and writes, arranges, and performs in classical-crossover trio VOLARE TENORS. Notable symphonic repertoire includes The Evangelist in Bach’s Weihnachts-Oratorium (Okanagan Festival Singers), The Messiah (Victoria Civic Orchestra), and the title role of Judas Maccabaeus (Victoria Baroque Players).
Kaden will be seen next in the Musée Marguerite-Bourgeoys produced jazz-oratorio tour in Canada and France, a summer tour with VOLARE TENORS, and the 2021 40-Days of Opera concert program with Pacific Opera Victoria.
