Sophia Kaushik, soprano, is currently a sophomore at Sacred Heart Preparatory, Atherton. She is a Classical Voice student at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Pre-College Division, where she has been studying with Christine Abraham since the age of eight. Sophia has performed on the renowned stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Musikverein in Vienna. She is a medalist and winner of awards in regional, national, and international voice competitions. Sophia regularly performs in vocal recitals and opera scenes productions with San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and has recently been cast in a Soprano Ensemble role with San Francisco Lamplighters Music Theatre. She is a frequent singer at charitable concerts throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and is passionate about supporting the call for diversity and inclusion in the world of opera.
