Sophia Kaushik, soprano, is currently a sophomore at Sacred Heart Preparatory, Atherton. She is a Classical Voice student at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Pre-College Division, where she has been studying with Christine Abraham since the age of eight. Sophia has performed on some of the most renowned stages of the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Musikverein in Vienna. She is a medalist and winner of awards in regional, national, and international voice competitions. Sophia regularly performs in vocal recitals and opera scenes productions with San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is also a frequent singer at charitable concerts throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Sophia is passionate about supporting the call for diversity and inclusion in the world of opera.
