Benhur Mosazghi is a bass from Eritrea in the Horn of Africa. Before moving to his current city of St. Louis, Missouri, he performed extensively in his home country with Sound of Oasis and other groups, singing arias, art songs and popular Eritrean songs. As a participant in the Lunigiana International Music Festival in Fivizzano, Italy in both 2018 and 2019, he performed in concerts and scenes programs there in Fivizzano in Lucca, Equi Terme and Vernazza. He was a winner of their LIMF competition, and awarded a prize of a future recital in New York. He was also a participant in the Allegro Vivo Academy in Austria and performed in concert in Horn. He won 3rd prize in the Crescendo Artist Program with Union Avenue Opera of St. Louis. Benhur has been admitted to the Oberlin Conservatory this year, where he will be studying Classical Voice Performance/Opera major.
