Adriana Fernandez

My name is Adriana Fernandez and I have been studying opera since I was 14 years old. I initially got my start with the Sarasota youth opera and at a young age fell in love with the languages and performance aspect. Since then I have had lead roles in their world premier of “Little Nemo in Slumberland”, Benjamin Britten’s “The Little Sweep”, “the hobbit” and was a child chorus member for their main stage operas. I then perused my undergraduate degree at Florida State University, where I was in the main stage chorus for 4 years, as well as performed lead roles in their Opera Outreach program and opera workshop. I’ve enjoyed going to summer programs such as Berlin Opera Academy and Washington National Opera, as well as studying with Vinson Cole and performing in the chorus of the Kansas City Lyric.
