My name is Brendan "BLove" Jones and I'm 18 years old and I attend Devillier Educational Center (Home School). I was born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana, but traveled a lot to my mother's hometown, Houston, Texas. I would sing with my grandfather in his gospel singing group in Texas and this is where it all started. I started singing in the choir, leading the church choirs and singing solo. My mother found me a vocal coach who worked with me to train my voice and bring out my vocals in which I didn't know I had. My voice coach had me to sign up with the Christian Youth Theater for the Broadway Musical "HairSpray The Musical." I performed a total of 6 years , which added up to 13 shows that I performed on stage with the Christian Youth Theater where I excelled in singing, acting and dancing in Broadway musicals. While in the Christian Youth Theater, I had classes in Teen Drama, Teen Vocals, Advanced and Broadway Vocals, Acting Techniques and Cold Reads, Comedy/Improv and Teen Drama. I performed in 15 Broadway Musical stage performances. I was also apart of the High School Youth Pursuing Excellence (HYPE) Program. We would participate in community activities, volunteer our services to help the homeless, elderly, youth, hospitals and more. I was also picked up by an agent in 2020 and appeared in a commercial for Our Lady of The Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Afterwards I became interested in Opera through my voice coach and started attending Master Classes, performing with the New Orleans Opera and entering vocal competitions.

I will be graduating in May of 2023 and I plan on attending Nicholl's State University. I would like to major in Computer Science with a minor in Music. I would love to see where my voice takes me and I pray that I will perform on higher platforms, such as a professional actor, singer and Broadway performances.
