Marisa Bringewatt

Soprano Marisa Bringewatt is a voice student in the high school program at the University North Carolina School of the Arts. She has experience with classical and musical theater styles, performing in musicals, opera scenes, choral, and small group ensembles. Along with Classical Singer, Marisa has competed in NATS and the Schmidt Vocal Competition; she recently received second place in the 2020 NC Schmidt Competition. Marisa is passionate about collaborating with composers on original pieces as well as studying repertoire by female composers. She plans to continue her vocal training in college with the goal of becoming a professional opera singer.
