Ruby Pine (Soprano) is a third-year undergraduate student at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Mary Schiller. Pine performed in the ensemble of The Cleveland Opera’s Manon Lescaut, and performed as the Second Spirit in CIM’s Die Zauberflöte, Emilia in Otello, and Young Blind Woman in the world premier of The Blind. Pine covered the role of Second Witch and played a dancer in CIM’s Dido and Aeneas. She sang in the Gotham Music Festival at Carnegie Hall and in Eric Whitacre’s Deep Field under the baton of Whitacre at the World Science Festival. Pine studied violin for 15 years at the School for Strings in NY. She previously studied with Jana Ballard, Amelia DeMayo, and Gulia Mitzanova.
