As a Navy veteran who has traversed the seas, weathered storms, and embraced diverse cultures, the allure of Italy beckons to me with its rich history, captivating art, and vibrant language. My name is Shikahi Jones, a resilient soul hailing from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and currently pursuing my passion for music education and classical voice at Howard University.

My journey has been one of overcoming obstacles and forging my path against the odds. From being adopted and placed in group homes to serving my country in the Navy for seven years, 2014- 2022 . I have honed my determination and adaptability. Now, at 30 years old, I stand poised to embark on a new adventure—to impart my knowledge and share my love for language and music. I am a current Howard University Music Education/ Classical voice student ! Currently I am a Howard University Chorale, and Washington Douglass Chorale in Washington DC.
