Bio

Gino is in his 4th undergraduate year at Fresno State in Vocal Performance. He has been involved in opera with roles including (but not limited to) Cherubino from The Marriage of Figaro, Oberon from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Tolomeo from Giulio Cesare in Egitto, La Boheme (ensemble), and Pagliacci (ensemble). With only four years of classical training, Gino has already placed as a finalist in the 5th, 6th, and 8th Fresno State Art Song Festival. In 2022, he also received the Encouragement Award from the Kristina Townsend Memorial Competition.

Outside of opera, Gino also excels in the choral world. In 2024, he participated in the WACDA Conference with Rollo Dilworth and was involved in the National Concerts performance at Carnegie Hall. He leads the Fresno State Concert and Chamber Choir altos as the section leader and uses his skills in both opera and choir to expand his musicianship.
