Bio

Victoria Popritkin is a soprano pursuing her Masters in Opera Performance under the tutelage of Thomas Goodheart at Binghamton University, where she performed the role of Suor Angelica in Puccini's Suor Angelica in spring 2024. Victoria's previous operatic roles include Cupid in Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld, Papagena in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, and Spirit in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo, all at the Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. Victoria graduated summa cum laude with degrees in vocal performance and neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati and pursued additional language study at Classic Lyric Arts France (2021) and Accademia Vocale Lorenzo Malfatti in Lucca, Italy (2019). Additionally, Victoria was a Songfest Young Artist (2022) and sang at the Songe d'été en Musique Festival in Québec, Canada for two summers (2023, 2022). Victoria also won 3rd in Classical Singer Young Artist Division Competition 2024, won the 2023 Binghamton Concerto Competition, placed 1st in the NATS Eastern Regional CLA9 category, received the ThreeArts Women in Arts scholarship, and won 3rd place in the student division of The American Prize Art Song competition. Passionate about leadership and intersection of arts and sciences, Victoria co-founded CCM's undergraduate Opera Club and served as a practitioner and assistant for the Music and Memory music therapy course for two years.
