Elizabeth Buscher recently graduated with her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she studied with Dr. Robert Wells. On campus, she sang with the UNCG Chamber Singers, and in main-stage opera productions with UNCG Opera Theatre. She also sings with Bel Canto Company, Lux Choir, and is a member of the Greensboro Master Chorale, performing masterworks such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony, and has appeared in performances and events with Greensboro Opera. In 2019, she graduated from the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College with her Bachelor’s in Music Education, where she studied voice with Dr. Susan Hochmiller. During her undergraduate career, she performed with the Gettysburg College Choir, Camerata, Opera Workshop, and as a featured soloist with the Buzz Jones Quintet. Recent performances include Nella in Gianni Schicchi, First Tourierre in Suor Angelica, Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, Filia in Jephte, and a soloist in Haydn's Nelson Mass and Handel's Messiah. Ms. Buscher has placed as a winner in the Allegheny Mountain Chapter of the NATS vocal competition for four years, as a winner of the North Carolina State Adult Women category for Musical Theatre, and qualified for Nationals in the Classical Treble division. She has attended the Young Artist program, Si Parla, Si Canta, under the direction of Jeffrey Gall, Chris Merritt, Nicole Cabell, and Benton Hess, and the Art of Song program, Orvieto Musica in Orvieto, Italy. Elizabeth is currently teaching voice lessons for all ages and is an accompanist for students at UNCG.
