My name is Megan Christine Stephens, I am 22 years young. I grew up in a musical family where my dad played many instruments like trumpet and my mom played classical piano. Then we moved to more contemporary styles with guitars and keys, but music has always been apart of my life. One of my favorite things is to listen to and learn new styles of music.

I sang everything from disney to showtunes, to soul and gospel, to R&B and pop. In 2017, the year I graduated high school, I auditioned for Young Arts Foundation with pop music and that was my first experience doing music in a professional way. I was in the top finalists and received a certificate. Near the end of 2021, I had the opportunity of attending a conservatory for musical theatre under a generous scholarship and got to refine the abilities I had grown up practicing on my own, like dance techniques, vocal projection, slating. I got to work with people who are currently actively auditioning and have been in the business for years. I always find it important to embrace individuality and how everyone can bring something meaningful to the table.

Though I cannot see myself doing just one thing, music and theatre will always be a part of my life in some way. If not performing than for myself!
