A Shakespearean actress, disciplined dancer and classical vocalist, Kent State University graduate Shelby Carlisle's love for performance began with her first dance recital at age two. To date, Shelby has joined the cast of over 60 regional and community productions in North East Ohio and a dozen short films. Occasionally, Shelby lends her vocals to recordings for local Cleveland bands. Favorite past productions include West Side Story, Pippin and Les Misérables.
Notable roles include: The Crucible's Abigail Williams, A Funny Thing Happened... Forum's Philia, The King & I's Tuptim, How to Succeed in Businesses's Rosemary, Midsummer Night's Dream's Hermia & Titania, The Tempest's Miranda, Grease's Frenchie , Brigadoon's Jeannie and Lizzie Borden's Lizzie Borden.
Shelby is honored to submit selections from her repertoire for CS Music's esteemed review.
