Israeli - American soprano , Kami Salman most recently completed her M.A. in Vocal Performance as a Buchmann-Adler Fellow for excellent musicians at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music under the guidance of voice teacher and soprano, Sharon Rostorf-Zamir and coach, Rodica Hayman-Talpaz. Kami completed her B.M. in Vocal Performance with bass-baritone and voice teacher Mark Schnaible. Kami most recently covered the role of Tosca with the SOO Opera Theatre this past summer. During July 2022 , Kami made her role debut as the Foreign Princess from Dvorak’s Rusalka with the Jerusalem Lyric Opera Studio under the baton of Ethan Schmeisser. Ms.Salman has performed and covered roles including Fiordiligi, Erste Dame and Barbarina. Over the years, Kami has participated in the IVAI Summer Opera Tel Aviv Program, The Sherrill Milnes VoiceExperience, Accademia della Lirica Italiana as well as New York University’s Classical Voice Intensive. Kami is currently a student of soprano Anna Skibinsky, Richard Barrett and Lori Guillbeau. Kami lives between New York and Tel Aviv and is excited for her next steps as a young artist.
