Danielle Cohen received her BFA from The New School in Jazz and Contemporary Music, including classes and an opera workshop at Mannes School of Music. A few of the vocal instructors with whom Danielle worked during college are Leo Shih, Gerald Brown and the late Kenneth Kamal Scott. Danielle began performing as a child in concerts and musical theatre productions under the tutelage of her uncle, Broadway Veteran Paul M. Elkin, with whom she currently studies (via zoom). Danielle has performed Jazz, Classical, and Musical Theater repertoire in 8 languages. She has also had 8 years of dance training in Jazz, Ballet and Tap, and has enjoyed acting in numerous musical theater roles that include Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, Princess Winifred in Once Upon a Mattress and Jenny Lind in Barnum, among numerous others. Vocal Range: D below middle C - D above high C. Non-Union.
