Bio

Casey Banville is currently a working artist pursuing her BA in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre at Dean College. Her love for theatre began when she was growing up in Ludlow, Massachusetts with her mom, dad, and German Shepherd Jackson. When she was in preschool, Casey would look at herself in the mirror pretending she was singing and acting for adoring crowds. At ten years old, she was cast as a part of the ensemble in her first show with the Exit 7 Youth Players, and she has not stopped since. Throughout middle school and high school, Casey was able to be cast in many shows including The Wizard of Oz, The Boyfriend, and Grease. In addition, she sang in the Massachusetts Western Junior District Choir, Senior District Choir, and All State Choir. At her high school graduation, she received the Greggory Wrinn Award for excellence in choral studies, music history, and music theory.

Since she has arrived at college, she has also received many opportunities to perform and hone her craft. Her most recent roles include Margot and Elle’s understudy in Legally Blonde, Olivia in Twelfth Night, and Giacinta in Scapino! She has also been training and taking classes in the studies of acting, music, and dance. Throughout her college career she has realized that she not only wants to perform but has a passion for arts education as well. She loves sharing her passion for theatre with the next generation and helping other mirror singers like herself make their dreams a reality. She recently worked as a Music/Vocal Assistant at the Hanover Theatre for their children’s summer program and a Teacher’s Assistant at the Boston Ballet for their Ballet Exploration and Ballet Journeys program. Currently, she has completed her Junior Year at Dean College, in Franklin, MA where she will continue her training and graduate with her Bachelor’s Degree in May of 2021. In the future, she plans to attend graduate school for Directing, perform professionally, and become a theatre educator.
