Bio

Tanushka Sisodiya is a young Indian American soprano from Cumming, Georgia. She is a current junior at Mercer University’s Townsend School of Music, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice) and Information Science & Technology with a minor in Cybersecurity. She is the Fabian Distinguished Music Scholar and Jesse Mercer Scholar. Tanushka is the winner of the 2023 Atlanta Opera Guild Undergraduate competition. She won 1st and was the winner’s recitalist in the Georgia National Association Teachers of Singing in both 2022 and 2023. She won 1st place and recitalist in the Southeastern Regional National Association Teachers of Singing in 2024. She has played Clarissa in Little Women: The Musical by Alan Knee, Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense: The Musical by Dan Goggin, and Pernille in The Beautiful Bridegroom: One-Act opera by Dan Shore. She is a part of the Mercer University Singers and is in the voice studio of Dr. Richard Kosowski.
