Tanushka Sisodiya is an Indian-American Soprano from Cumming, GA. She is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Music and Information Science & Technology with a minor in Cybersecurity at Mercer University. She is the Fabian Distinguished Music Scholar and Jesse Mercer Scholar. Tanushka is the winner of the 2023 Atlanta Opera Guild Undergraduate competition. She won 1st place and recitalist in the Georgia National Association Teachers of Singing (NATS) in 2022, 2023, and 2024. She won 1st place and recitalist in the Southeastern Regional NATS in 2024. She was a semi-finalist at the National NATS competition in Knoxville this past Summer. In the MU Opera, she played Clarissa in Little Women: The Musical by Alan Knee, Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense: The Musical by Dan Goggin, Pernille in The Beautiful Bridegroom: One-act opera by Dan Shore, and is currently preparing the role of Almirena in G.F. Handel’s Rinaldo. She is in the studio of Dr. Richard Kosowski and is also a part of the Mercer Singers.
