Bio

Erika Milner, mezzo-soprano, is a passionate teacher of singing and music educator. Erika currently teaches choir, piano, and strings at Fort Campbell High School and teaches private voice lessons at Madison Street Music and Arts Academy. Her voice and choir students have received superior ratings at local solo and ensemble festivals and have participated in various honor choirs. Erika recently received a Certificate of Distinction from Boston Conservatory’s Vocal Pedagogy Summer Program and is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

Erika performs regularly in her community and surrounding areas. She regularly sings with the Gateway Chamber Choir, where she has performed as a soloist with the Gateway Chamber Orchestra, and has performed with the Nashville based women’s ensemble, Vox Grata. She also helps lead music at her church where she sings and plays violin and piano.

Erika received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Union University and received her Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from Austin Peay State University where she studied classical voice. She continues to study voice, and is currently taking lessons in musical theater styles with Kevin Wilson (Boston Conservatory ).
