Bio

Emily Soule, Soprano, is a second-year MMVP student at North Park University in Chicago, IL and studies with Dr. Sam Handley. Most recently she performed the role of Miss Jessel in Britten’s the Turn of the Screw at Music Academy International in Mezzano, Italy. She will return to Italy this summer to perform the title role in Rusalka by Dvořák. This spring Emily will be singing the role of Blanche de la Force in North Park University’s production of Dialogues des Carmélites. In her time at North Park, Emily has also performed the roles of Gretel in Humperdink’s Hänsel und Gretel as well as Ann in Argento’s Masque of Angels. She also won first place in the 2020 performance awards competition at North Park University, as well as first place in the graduate women’s devision of the 2020 Chicago chapter NATS competition. Emily received her Bachelors in Music and Theatre from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN in 2016. It was there that she performed such roles as Fiona McLaren in Brigadoon, Irene Malloy in Hello, Dolly! Julia Jellicoe in The Grand Duke, and Josephine in HMS Pinafore.
