● Research Project at Jersey Shore Science Fair at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey - March 16, 2018

Chosen by Biotechnology High School staff to enter the science fair. Conducted a research project on the effect of polyphenolic compounds in chocolate and wine on food-borne bacteria (E. coli JM101) and won Honorable Mention in Team category.

● Research Project with C. elegans at Biotechnology High School Lab - December 2019

Tested the effect of Vitamin D supplements on locomotion and reproduction rates of C. elegans with dauer formation (daf-12). Collected experimental results with the use of Motic Stereo Dissecting Microscope Software. Project to be entered at the Jersey Shore Science Fair in March 2020.

VOCAL ACHIEVEMENTS

● Classical Singer Magazine Music Competition - May 25-27, 2019

Chosen as an Opera Finalist among 1,500 High School semi-finalist contestants

nationwide and adjudicated at National Classical Singer Conference in Chicago, Illinois.

● Crescendo International Music Competition - February 2019

Third place winner in international opera competition and invited to perform at the Finalist Concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

● Count Basie Teen Opera - August 13-25, 2018

Selected to play a lead role in the White Bird of Poston opera (two-week summer intensive). Directed and composed by Eli Villanueva, Stage Director of Education and Community Programs at the LA Opera.

DANCE ACHIEVEMENTS

● Dance Director of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Musical - November 2019 - March 2020

Elected as one of the dance directors for the 2020 spring musical at Biotechnology High School.

● Diwali at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Diversity Corporate Event - October 26, 2017

Performed cultural dances at Novartis Pharmaceuticals in East Hanover, New Jersey, and toured research facilities.

● Consulate General of India Performance - June 26, 2019

Invited to perform cultural dances at Curtain Raiser of Federation of Indian Association’s 39th India Day Parade and at India Day Parade in NYC on August 18, 2019. Performed at Consulate General of India in New York City in front of international dignitaries.

● Dance Committee of BOTC - December 2017; December 2018; and February 2020

Selected for the dance committee for Battle of the Classes at Biotech. Choreographed dance for the class of 2021 to learn for an event, including dance forms such as hip-hop, ballet, jazz, bollywood, and bhangra. Demonstrated leadership by teaching fellow students choreography.

PIANO ACHIEVEMENTS

● George Gershwin International Music and Vocal Competition - September 24, 2017

Chosen as a Pianist Finalist among hundreds of National contestants in the High School Division. Performed Tchaikovsky’s The Seasons: October on piano at the Estonia House in New York City.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

● Teaching Dance at Nritya Creations Dance Studio - September 2017 - Present

Volunteering to mentor young children in the community and choreographing dances for the competition team at local dance school.

● The Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey Fundraiser - June 24, 2018

Led a charity benefit fundraiser at North Brunswick High School and raised $1500 for The Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey in cooperation with the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse in the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Service.

● Hazlet First Aid Squad Cadet EMT Member - January 2020

Volunteering cadet member of the Hazlet First Aid Squad in Hazlet, New Jersey. Working to become an active EMT.
