Emma Flannery

Hello, my name is Emma Flannery and I am a Junior studying Drama and Film and Media Studies at Washington University in Saint Louis. I grew up in the Chicagoland area and from a young age developed a love for Musical Theater. I was a member of the Actors Training Center Repertory Company during High School and participated in a range of productions from "Fiddler on the Roof" to "A Little Princess". In college, I declared my major and began to expand my craft from Musical Theater to straight plays as well. This past fall I was fortunate to play Elle Woods in Washington University's production of "Legally Blonde", an experienced that helped me grow tremendously as both an actress and vocalist. I have always thrived in more comedic roles but have been working to deepen my skills allowing me to explore more dramatic works as well. Other credits of mine include Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors", Gertrude McFuzz in "Seussical the Musical", and Edith in "The Pirates of Penzance". In plays, my credits include Lemon in "Aunt Dan and Lemon", Tilly in "Melancholy Play" and Jean in "August: Osage County". After graduation, I am hoping to go on to act and direct for the stage.
