Camryn Creech (She/Her) is a vocal performance major at Oklahoma City University. She is under the instruction of Professor Larry Wade Keller and vocal coach Professor Charles Koslowske. Camryn recently had the incredible opportunity to perform in a new student written opera, A Friend of Dolly. The opera was written by OCU composition students Andrew Crawford, Kiegan Ryan, William Aceytuno, and De'Andre Shufford. Camryn played the role of Dolly Anderson, a young art major in her early 20's who falls in love with political science major Eliza Gray. The opera is about love, acceptance, betrayal, and the societal struggles of being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Camryn was born and raised in Houston, Texas, which is where her love for opera grew. She trained under soprano Sandra Campbell from 2014-2020 and graduated from Kingwood High School in 2020. Camryn has many aspirations and is always on the lookout for opportunities.
