Bio

Sabrina Schubert attends Oberlin Conservatory pursuing a BM in Vocal Performance with an integrative concentration in Arts Administration and Leadership. At Oberlin she has studied under Lorraine Manz & is currently under the tutelage of Mathilda Edge. Sabrina has studied with Bel Canto in Tuscany, performing in Suor Angelica as Conversa 1. She performed for the UN delegation at Carnegie Hall (December 2022) and again in Ordering of Moses at Carnegie Hall (January 2023). Sabrina will be performing in Candide at Oberlin Conservatory in March 2023, and also performing the role of Flora in Turn of the Screw at the Trentino Music Festival in Summer 2023.

Sabrina is a 2021 graduate of Hillsborough High School. She served as a member of Princeton Girl Choir’s Ensemble, HHS Mixed Chorale, HHS Cardinal Voices A Cappella group, HHS Choir Council (Secretary), Tri-M Music Honor Society Executive Board, and Assistant Music Director for HHS BoroTones A Cappella Group. She has performed in various musical theatre productions, with previous credits including Footloose (Rusty) and The Addams Family (Wednesday Addams). Sabrina has also participated in NJMEA All State Mixed Chorus and CJMEA Region II Honors Chorus (Highest Scoring Soprano I (2019)). She has received the Maestro Award for Outstanding Soprano Soloist at the Montreal World Strides Heritage Music Festival (2018), Honorable Mention-Treble Classical Voice in Eastern Region NATS (2021), and a NJ Governor’s Award for Voice (2021).
