Jacquelyn Lengfelder, soprano, has performed leading opera, operetta, and musical theater roles with Fort Worth Opera Outreach, Ohio Light Opera, Living Opera, Lyric Stage, Casa Manana, Stage West, and Garland Summer Musicals. Solo appearances include Mozart Mass in C Minor, Schubert Mass in G, Carmina Burana, Mozart Requiem, Ralph Vaughn Williams Dona Nobis Pacem, Bernstein Chichester Psalms, and Rutter Requiem with companies such as Toccatta Tahoe Symphony, Plano Symphony Orchestra, Christ the King Singers, Temple Emanuel Choir, Voices of Change, Voces Intimae, The Hall Ensemble, and Barney and Friends!
Her favorite opera roles include Pamina (The Magic Flute), Josephine (H.M.S. Pinafore). Her leading roles with the Ohio Light Opera in two Kalman operettas Der Ziguenerprimas and Autumn Maneuvers, can be heard on CDs produced by Albany Records. Other opera roles include Musetta (La Boheme), Marietta, (Naughty Marietta), Fiametta (Boccaccio), and Gretel (Hansel and Gretel).
A favorite collaborator with living composers, Jacquelyn sang the world premiere of the Claude White opera, The Miraculous Phonograph Record, at the Meyerson Symphony Center. She has collaborated with award winning composer Gregory Sullivan Isaacs on many of his projects including his creation of a new opera, The Yellow Rose of Texas and Isaacs’ most recent works, Undelivered, and 21st Century Sacred, released on CD by Lantto Music and available on Amazon. She has premiered works by both Paul Leddington Wright and Ola Gjeilo, with the composers in attendance.
A native St. Louisan, Ms. Lengfelder holds a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Northern Illinois University.
