Lilliana Mindel, 18, studies voice with Juliana Gondek at UCLA, where she was named a Regents Scholar with a full scholarship. This summer she attended the Schmidt Vocal Institute. Some awards include: 1st Place Winner of the 2024 Schmidt Vocal Arts National High School Competition, The Music Center’s Spotlight Competition, Grand Prize Finalist ; Opera Buffs Artists of the Future Competition, 4th Place ; and OC Register Artist of the Year Competition, Classical Voice Finalist (2023). She performed a Youth Principal role in LA Opera’s Las Tres Mujeres de Jerusalem (2022) and is an ambassador of the LA Opera Connects College Advisory Committee.
